Real want a central defender and one of the possible options for Madrid is Leny Yoro.
With Nacho Fernandez, David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger all in their thirties, Real Madrid will have to deal with the aging of their central defenders in the years to come. Only Eder Militao (25) still has good years ahead of him, so a long-term partner could be sought as early as this summer.
One of the possible options for Real Madrid is Leny Yoro. The 18-year-old has taken French football by storm over the past 12 months, already establishing himself as an indisputable starter within the Lille team. However, he might not stay in Ligue 1 for long as Europe’s big boys are interested in him.
According to Telefoot, Real Madrid are one of the main candidates to hire Yoro, who has been compared to former Los Blancos defender Raphaël Varane. Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the running, making it a three-way race at this stage. Atlético Madrid are also interested in Yoro, but it is Real who are in a good position to secure his signature, even if it is a very expensive operation.
