EXCLUSIVE: Former A3 Artists Agency Partner and President Brian Cho has started Arise Artists Agency, with former A3 agents Ashley Partington, Abbie Waters and Nic Frascino joining the newly launched company. The news comes a month and a half after the abrupt shutdown of A3 Artists Agency last month.
“I am thrilled to embark on an exciting new venture with the introduction of our new company,” said Cho, Arise Artists Agency’s CEO. “As we navigate the dynamic landscape of our industry, our goal is to expand our agency into a comprehensive full-service provider, prioritizing an “artists first” approach. We look forward to welcoming many new members to our agency in the near future.”
Partington will head the Commercial, Branding & Celebrity Endorsement Division, while Waters will Head the Voiceover Division with Frascino joining to cover Animation, Commercials and Video Games. Frascino also will work in voiceover.
The plan is for Arise to expand into other areas. There has been an open invitation to A3 agents, left without a home by the sudden agency shutdown, to join the new company. Many of them have since found other jobs.
An agent in the commercial space for over 17 years, Partington has worked with actors, celebrities, influencers, and athletes on a number of notable campaigns, including World Series of Poker with Jason Alexander and Fan Duel with Carl Weathers.
Waters has had a career spanning over two decades in the fields of acting, music, casting, and talent representation.
