Wilfried Zaha is reportedly open to making a sensational return to the Premier League this summer, just a year after he left Crystal Palace.
The Eagles legend departed Selhurst Park at the end of last season upon the expiry of his contract and was linked with a variety of clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG and Al-Nassr.
In the end he chose Galatasaray and has so far scored 10 goals and made five assists in 31 appearances for the Turkish giants.
He also notably scored against former club Manchester United at Old Trafford during the Champions League group stage.
However, the 31-year-old was linked with a surprise transfer in January, though the winger had little interest in leaving the club he had only joined a few months prior.
But now talkSPORT report that Zaha may be open to a move come the summer, and a return to the Premier League is on the cards.
It is said Aston Villa and West Ham were interested in the Ivory Coast international during the last window and could well make a move if the opportunity arises.
Villa manager Unai Emery famously tried to sign Zaha in 2019 during his spell at Arsenal, but the Gunners failed to meet Palace’s demands, instead signing Nicolas Pepe for a then-club record fee of £72million.
Arsenal and Chelsea are unlikely to make another move for the player however, though the former are in the market for a new winger, with Wolves star Pedro Neto high on their shortlist.
Zaha scored 90 goals and made 76 assists for boyhood club Palace over the course of 458 appearances, and is considered the greatest player in the club’s history.
