Dermot Gallagher verdict:
Correct decision.
Dermot Gallagher explanation:
“I thought penalty.
“I can’t see what else he can give.
“I can’t imagine another referee making a different decision but it’s not a red card.
“I think he catches him with his arm on his left leg.”
Incident:
Kyle Walker challenges Joelinton and appears to take him down in the box, nothing given.
Dermot Gallagher verdict:
Correct decision.
Dermot Gallagher explanation:
“I just think it’s physical contact.
“It’s side by side and he’s done enough to ease him out.”
Incident:
Jack Grealish appears to stamp on and elbow Sandro Tonali, yellow cards given to both players.
Dermot Gallagher verdict:
Correct decision.

“The player (Tonali) trying to force the ref’s hand.
“I think the ref does well to not get sucked in.
“It’s not the wisest thing to do [by Grealish] but it’s not enough for a red card.”
