Former West Ham player Frank McAvennie believes Lucas Paqueta may want to leave the club if Real Madrid come in for him.
The Brazilian midfielder has been one of the Hammers’ best players over the past two seasons, as he continues to impress in the Premier League.
But these performances haven’t gone unnoticed as many of the top clubs across Europe are admirers of Paqueta’s.
This was evident last summer when treble winners Manchester City approached the London club but pulled out due to an ongoing investigation from the FA.
With things now cleared up, the Brazilian may be on the move in the summer with Pep Guardiola still reportedly looking for a midfield partner for Rodri.

Former Hammers striker, McAvennie claims that Paqueta is happy in London but if Man City or Real Madrid show an interest, it could turn his head.
‘I think he’ll stay, but if an offer comes in from Man City or Real Madrid, some big club, they’re going to get them and his head is going to be turned.’ He said via West Ham Zone.
The 26-year-old was part of the squad that drew 1-1 with Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon as they remain seventh in the Premier League table.
