There have been several wrestlers in the industry over the years and most of them go throughout their career without much trouble. Occasionally you will see someone who becomes infamous for something outside of the ring and there are cases where it is rather serious. That is the case again now with a former WWE wrestler who is facing some very serious allegations.

According to News 3 Las Vegas, former WWE developmental wrestler Daniel Rodimer is facing potential murder charges due to the death of a man named Christopher Tapp. This comes after Tapp died of blunt force trauma to the head at a hotel room in Las Vegas in October 2023, with Rodimer accused of an attack which was “willful, deliberate and premeditated.” Tapp died as a result of his injuries on November 5, 2023.
According to KLAS in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tapp is believed to have offered Rodimer’s stepdaughter cocaine at the party, resulting in Rodimer attacking him. There are varying accounts of what happened, with one witness saying Rodimer hit Tapp, whose head collided with a table, while another witness says Tapp slipped. According to KLAS, Rodimer turned himself in around 6pm Las Vegas time on Wednesday, with PWInsider.com reporting that he has been released on a $200,000 bond. He is due in court for a hearing on April 10. Rodimer wrestled in WWE’s developmental system from 2004-2007.
Opinion: There isn’t much of a good thing to be said here and I have no idea how this whole thing is going to play out. At the end of the day, a man is dead and there appears to be a serious chance that Rodimer was involved in it. Rodimer will get his day in court and we will see where things go from there, but for now this is not exactly looking good for him, all things considered.
