The company has been presented more in line with a mainstream sport, with several new features adding to the overall feel of the show. This includes some things that take place after the show is over, but it seems that WWE has a different thought in mind for them.

Over the last year plus, WWE has held press conferences following their Premium Live Events. Matt Camp, formerly the host of WWE’s The Bump, appeared on the Wrestling Matt Show and revealed that WWE only wants fans at its press conferences as the events are seen as part of the show. This is done to avoid wrestlers and Triple H being asked questions that are considered disruptive. WWE has allowed wrestling media to ask questions at the events.

Opinion: While this might not be the most popular decision, it is something that makes sense for WWE. They are trying to control the narrative and situation and that makes them be more serious about things like this. It isn’t the most entertaining thing in the world for some, but if WWE does not want to treat these events like serious press conferences, it makes sense to go this way.
