Formula 1 Drivers Sergio Perez & Charles Leclerc Dress Up While Arriving at the Paddock in Mexico

The F1 stars are down in Mexico for the next grand prix!

Sergio Perez was seen donning a luchador mask while arriving at the paddock at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Thursday (October 24) in Mexico City, Mexico, ahead of the 2024 Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix this weekend.

This is a homecoming for Sergio as this is his home race. For those that don’t know, he is originally from Mexico!

Charles Leclerc, who is currently third in the driver standings, was also spotted arriving dressed up. He wore a mariachi outfit as he made his way through the paddock.

Other Formula 1 drivers seen arriving for the media day were VCARB drivers Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, Sergio‘s Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, Alpine’s Pierre Gasly, Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll, Kick Sauber’s Zhou Guanyu, Williams’ Franco Colapinto and Alexander Albon, and reserve drivers Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and Pato O’Ward (McLaren).

Inside the paddock, Liam and Yuki could be seen playing a giant game of Jenga!

Both the constructor and the drivers standings are close races, with only five races remaining.

McLaren currently leads the constructor leaderboard with 544 points, Red Bull is second with 504 and Ferrari in third with 496.

In the driver standings, Max Verstappen is still holding the lead with 354 points, but Lando Norris (297) and Charles Leclerc (275) are closing in.

The Mexico City Grand Prix will take place THIS Sunday (October 27)!
