Fox News Schedules Laura Ingraham-Hosted Town Hall With Donald Trump

Fox News has scheduled another town hall with former President Donald Trump, this time a pre-taped event on Feb. 20 in South Carolina and hosted by Laura Ingraham.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. ET in Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in advance of the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24.

On her show the night before the New Hampshire primary, Ingraham said that Trump’s remaining rival in the GOP primary race, Nikki Haley, “is finished, and prolonging the obvious is just ensuring that she has no political future. It’s not really going to hurt Trump at this point. Well, maybe she has a political future if you think Liz Cheney has a bright political future.”

Fox News hosted a live town hall with Trump on Jan. 10, just before the Iowa caucuses, with anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum moderating. The network hosted a town hall with Haley on Jan. 8.

Haley has criticized Trump for refusing to participate in a GOP debate. The former president skipped all of the GOP gatherings this cycle.
