France is still struggling to get rid of the Israel team. Held in check twenty minutes from time (0-0), Didier Deschamps’ men had the chances, but they showed incredible clumsiness.

To try to break the Israeli barrier, DD then attempted a triple change in the 70th minute by bringing in Kingsley Coman, Christopher Nkunku and Adrien Rabiot. The first two were applauded by the public at the Stade de France while the neo-Marseillais, who is making his comeback in the selection, was heavily whistled and booed by the Parisian public.
