France welcomes Israel this evening as part of the fifth day of the group stage of the Nations League. A high-tension match played in an almost empty Stade de France.

However, the drastic measures put in place to avoid any excesses were not sufficient to avoid the first scuffles of the match. Indeed, fights broke out in the north turn, just above the group of French supporters. Around fifty people are believed to be involved. Witnesses claimed to have seen hooded people sprinting towards French supporters who allegedly caused provocations. The CRS had to intervene to set up a security cordon.
