ECW Legend and Original Francine made an appearance on the Nov. 6 special NXT episode which was held in the former ECW 2300 Arena.
It was confirmed prior to the episode that Francine would be in attendance. And that’s all we got from her, was a spot in the crowd. Francine explains there was supposed to be more but it didn’t happen.
On her Eyes Up Here podcast, Francine states she was planned to be the special guest referee for the Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker match. Instead it was another ECW Legend and Original Dawn Marie. Francine could not be a referee due to previous abdominal issues. This then turned into a possible backstage segment, but Francine had lost her voice.
Francine reveals she was initially pitched to referee Lola Vice vs Jaida Parker but turned it down because of previous abdominal issues. Also was going to do a backstage interview, but lost her voice. This is why she only appeared in the crowd.
