Collins, who has played for the U15 to U21 and U21, made this known in an interview with Sky Germany.
He noted that his long-term ambition is to represent the Germany senior national team if invited by the manager.

“If one day I had the opportunity to help the national team on the big stage, who wouldn’t be happy? As a child, I always dreamed of it, and it was always one of my goals.
“It’s not on my Christmas wish list for next year, because I want to win the next few games and be part of the U21 European Championship and play well in the European Championship. Those are my next steps and goals,” he explained.
