Thursday evening, millions of French people will be in front of their televisions to follow the announcement of the list of Blues selected to participate in Euro 2024 in Germany. Guest on the 8 p.m. news on TF1, Didier Deschamps will therefore name the names of the players who will accompany him to try to lift the trophy on July 14. The French coach, who can call up to 26 players, took days and days before deciding. Especially since he had to deal with last minute problems since certain executives like Lucas Hernandez (PSG) or Aurélien Tchouameni (Real Madrid) are injured.

Regarding the offensive sector, DD also has uncertainties. We think in particular of Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich), victim of an adductor injury last April. The former PSG player has returned to racing and hopes to be back on his feet before Euro 2024. But it remains to be seen whether this will be the case and whether Deschamps will take such a risk, knowing that a relapse is possible. What is certain is that the French staff is studying all the options and already has an eye on a player who can strengthen the offensive compartment. This is Bradley Barcola (21 years old).

First for Barcola?

While his name had been mentioned by the media before the rally last March, the former OL player was ultimately not called. But Deschamps and his teams always kept an eye on him. He was also supervised during the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League against FC Barcelona (4-1 victory). A meeting where the player born in 2002 was very interesting. Less visible against BVB, Barcola nevertheless scored points during his first season at PSG (37 appearances, 24 starts, 4 goals and 8 assists), where he was able to form a nice trio with Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé.

make your list 26 euro

Two regulars of the French team that he should a priori find again. Indeed, The Parisian reveals that a trend is emerging and Bradley Barcola has a very serious chance of appearing in the list of 25 or 26 Tricolores tomorrow. This would be his first call-up with the A’s who we saw with Thierry Henry’s Bleuets. All this would reward the great year of the native of Villeurbanne, who moved from Lyon to Paris for €50 million last summer. Although he still has room for improvement, Bradley Barcola continues his incredible rise, he who hopes to hear his name come out of DD’s mouth tomorrow evening at around 8 p.m.
