Even when he is not playing, Kylian Mbappé is subject to harsh criticism from observers.

Kylian Mbappé is not in the line-up for the France-Belgium match this Monday in Lyon. But that doesn’t mean he is exempt from external attacks. For several days, the Real Madrid striker has been facing violent criticism and the latest to point the finger at him is former international Christophe Dugarry.

Dugarry can’t stand Mbappé anymore

Duga is known for not having Mbappé in his heart. And this is even more the case at the moment, after the regrettable words that the Bondynois said in a press conference with the Blues. He said that he had nothing to do with what the French public shows him.

“Mbappé’s performances reflect his statements over the past two years. Since the beginning of his career, we have been told that he is mature, that he speaks well, but all of that has finally caught up with him. He thinks he is something he is not. It is catastrophic. He has an opinion on everything (…) This is not the attitude I want to see from a leader and even less from a captain. He is disconnected from what might be happening, he has become out of touch because of the praise we have given him, it has gone so far that he has ended up believing it,” judged the 1998 world champion on RMC.
