Lens travels to Friborg in the round of 16 second leg of the Europa League, this Thursday (6:45 p.m.). Here is the expected lineup for the Sang et Or.

After a goalless draw in the first leg a week ago (0-0), the Racing Club de Lens must achieve a small feat by winning on the Friborg pitch to punch their ticket for the round of 16 of the Europa League, this Thursday, early evening (kick-off at 6:45 p.m.).

Franck Haise will still rely on a starting eleven which has been well remodeled in recent weeks, in comparison with the compositions of the first part of the season. If the technician should now trust Elye Wahi on the attacking front, the French international Espoir should be supported by Sotoca and Pereira Da Costa.

Lens, lineup vs Fribourg: big tile in defense

In midfield, too, the hierarchy has evolved well within RC Lens. El Aynaoui has emerged as a rising player in the squad. Abdul Samed should accompany him in a double pivot with a usual 3-4-2-1 animation. Frankowski is expected on the right flank, while Chavez should be aligned on the left.

But it is especially in the defensive sector that the Sang et Or will be orphans this Thursday evening. Danso is in fact suspended for this second round. The Austrian international should be replaced by Khusanov, in a three-man defense completed by Gradit and Medina. Samba will hold his place in the goals

The expected composition for Lens : Samba (cap.) – Gradit, Khusanov, Medina – Frankowski, Abdul Samed, El Aynaoui, Chavez – Sotoca, Pereira Da Costa – Wahi.
