FTR returned to the ring tonight, saving Tommy Billington from a massive beatdown at the hands of Konosuke Takeshita.
In a match on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Takeshita defeated Billington in singles action after he mostly dominated the match. After the bout ended, however, Takeshita wasn’t done, and Don Callias took to the ring to tell Billington to get up while praising him for trying his best against Takeshita. He then said Billington had everything it took to be in the Don Callis Family, and invited him to join.
Billington shook Callis’ hand and told him to kiss his ass, which set off Callis. As a result, Takeshita and Callis continued to attack Billington with a series of punches and kicks. As the attack went on, FTR’s music hit, and out came Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, running down to the ring and clearing it out as the crowd cheered.
Prior to tonight, FTR had been out of action for a little over a month as Dax Harwood dealt with an injury to his lower back.
