Liverpool winning 5-1 at home to West Ham, whilst the other game tonight saw Arsenal beat Bolton 5-1 at the Emirates.
Newcastle United of course saw their third round match postponed, moved from Plough Lane to St James’ Park after AFC Wimbledon’s pitch and stadium was flooded.
When the Carabao Cup fourth round draw was eventually made tonight, AFC Wimbledon or Newcastle United getting Chelsea at St James’ Park.
