Famous Yoruba  Omolara Dauda, a Nollywood actress and producer, has spoken up about a traumatic experience she had with a film producer who allegedly attempted to force her into a sexual relationship in return for a position in the film.

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Dauda revealed the startling specifics of her ordeal, including how the producer, who remained anonymous, made multiple attempts to enter her hotel room at two in the morning.

She agreed to take on the role because he came highly recommended. She even drove the producer in her car from Lagos to Ibadan, only to face unexpected hostility and inappropriate demands upon arrival.

She said; “There was this producer—I won’t mention his name to protect his identity. He called me for a job, and I only accepted because he came highly recommended. The movie location was in Ibadan, and I was the one who drove him in my car all the way from Lagos to Ibadan.”

“The problem started when I greeted my colleagues on set. He reacted in an ugly manner in front of everyone and later called me into my car to reprimand me. I warned him never to treat me like that in public again,” she recounted.

Following this confrontation, the producer abruptly told her that she was no longer needed for the film and asked her to return to Lagos.

However, Dauda insisted that he compensate her for transporting him to Ibadan before she would leave. The production manager later intervened, ensuring that she remained on set and continued with the shoot.

Things took a more troubling turn when the producer later relocated her hotel accommodation to the same one he was staying in.

She continued; “Later, he approached me again and said he wanted to see me in his room. I had already been warned about him and his habit of demanding sex in exchange for roles. So, I told him that I needed to call my boyfriend first and that I would meet him later. Then, this producer came to my hotel room around 2AM and knocked on my door. When I opened, he tried to force his way in. I refused and even embarrassed him by pushing him down. Throughout the movie shoot, he kept threatening me at the location, but I stood my ground.”
