Nollywood actor Funsho Adeolu has sparked a debate with his questioning of the financial origins of opulence within certain female colleagues in the industry.

Speaking during a video interview on Teju Baby Face TV, Adeolu challenged the notion that these actresses solely rely on their earnings from film projects to sustain their lavish lifestyles, hinting at potential alternative revenue streams that might be fueling their conspicuous consumption.
Adeolu’s scrutiny extended to the realm of material possessions, as he mused over the apparent paradox of actresses driving high-end vehicles despite purportedly earning less per movie than himself.
“I command higher fees per role compared to many Nollywood actresses, yet I find it perplexing that they flaunt extravagant lifestyles beyond their movie earnings. They can’t say they only make money from acting movies to fund their lifestyle. There are discrepancies between their ostentatious displays and their actual earnings.”
