As a result, Ait-Nouri was escorted from the pitch by Craig Dawson, who did his best to remove his furious teammate from the row by lifting him off the ground.
Matheus Cunha was also involved and needed to be ushered down the tunnel to avoid punishment.
While the cause of the row is not yet known, it's been suggested that it could have been down to Taylor's winner coming in the fourth minute of injury time - a minute later than the allocated three minutes signaled by the fourth official.
In regulation time, Ait-Nouri was involved in a feisty confrontation with Ipswich forward Conor Chaplin in the first-half, before receiving a booking and a suspension for the next match in a separate incident.
Defeat means that Wolves sit 19th in the table and four points from safety - a tally that could increase with Crystal Palace yet to play this weekend.
It also piles the pressure on Wolves boss Gary O'Neil as speculation around his future at the club continues.
Loud boos echoed around Molineux as unsavory scenes plagued the final whistle for the second match in a row.
It's not the first time this has happened, with O'Neil loudly booed following their 4-0 defeat to Everton earlier this month.
The touchline tussle was also the sign of a worrying trend as well.

As a result, he was stripped of the captaincy for the clash with Ipswich, a decision that had little bearing on the result.
