Gabourey Sidibe is a mom! The 41-year-old actress gave birth to twins in early April, with husband of over two years Brandon Frankel. They first revealed their pregnancy back in February, sharing then that they were expecting twins. Check out the super cute first photos of the newborns over on The Shade Room! “Brandon always wanted to name a son Cooper, so we can call him ‘Coop,’ and Maya was named shortly before our baby moon to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico,” she reportedly told Shutterstock. “Both twins have traditional West African middle names after members of my family.” “Cooper will sometimes speak for Maya and alert us that she’s about to spit up. Maya loves her name being sung to her and is the queen of comedic timing, and Cooper loves his sleep and has the funniest facial expressions,” she said about her babies. “They both love cuddling with Mom and Dad.” Of their birth, Gabourey revealed that they just went in for a checkup and was told the twins were coming that day.
