Son of WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, Gage has been seen on WWE television on a few occasions. He was recently spotted along with his father at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. He is currently focused on his college football career. But he also shared that he has an interest in becoming a professional wrestler.

While speaking to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda’s Wrestle Binge, Gage mentioned that he would love to be a wrestler but at this time his focus is only in college football.

“I mean, yes and no. For sure, wrestling would be cool. Having all the… Being amped up and everything. Having all the adrenaline. But then also, I know my place right now is with football. So, I’m going to live this out and see where this takes me. If this doesn’t work out, could be wrestling. Don’t know. It’s a backup plan. So…”

Gage also shared that wrestling is good for a footballer.

“Also wrestling is great for football too. Because of like, tackling and everything. Taking blows. But…”

During the same interview, Apter asked if Gage had speared anyone. To which he replied that he has speared people back in high school but he has not been able to in Colorado yet;

“In high school football for sure. Up here in Colorado not yet. I haven’t gone. I got in the game a little bit. But I haven’t speared anyone yet. In high school I definitely did. I broke someone’s neck before.”

Gage also revealed that his friends are aware of who he is and of his family lineage.

“Yes, sir they do. So, I lived in Texas for five years. So, I was with that group of people all throughout high school. And so, they knew everything. They knew who my dad was, they know what I am going to be and my presence kinda,” Gage Goldberg said.
