Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville made his debut as a guest dragon on the BBC show Dragon’s Den. The footballer turned manager and then pundit is renowned for keeping himself busy and investing his money into property since hanging up his boots.
Neville received rave reviews after his appearance on Dragon’s Den and there might be calls for him to become a permanent fixture on the show. He’s got years of experience on TV from working with Sky Sports, so it comes as no surprise that he impressed whilst on the BBC show.
The United legend joined the cast of the show alongside regular tycoons Peter Jones, Deborah Maeden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett.
From the feedback we’ve stumbled across since last night’s airing of Dragon’s Den, it sounds like the 48-year-old settled into the role of a dragon like a fish in water.
Gary Neville has been excellent on #dragonsden. Give him the job full time.

That was the best #dragonsden I’ve ever seen on every level. Please make Gary Neville a permanent fixture. He worked so brilliantly alongside the other five. Great TV

I never expected to be watching Neville on Dragon’s Den, but the reactions on social media suggest there is appetite for him to appear on the show again.
