Gavin Newsom Launches Podcast With NFL Legend Marshawn Lynch

As Democrats consider alternatives to President Biden, one of the men mentioned as a potential successor is launching a podcast with an NFL legend.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is launching Politickin’ with Super Bowl champion Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch and agent Doug Hendrickson.

The series, which launches on July 15, will see the trio discuss what it takes to “excel” in their respective fields. Newsom will address the current state of affairs in politics, while Lynch will share insider stories about the NFL. Hendrickson is EVP at agency Wasserman and looks after the likes of Lynch and Maxx Crosby.

The podcast has been in development for more than a year. It comes from iHeartPodcasts.

In the trailer, which you can hear here and below, Newsom says that there’s be “no politics” and “tune in to be saved”. Lynch adds, “We bring each side, all walks of life and we figure out what’s going on and I call that Politickin’.”
