General Hospital put together a reunion that’s been in the making since 2015. Next week, Genie Francis‘s Laura Spencer will reunite with her son Lucky, played by Jonathan Jackson. Keep reading to find out more… EW confirmed that the two characters would be together onscreen again for the first time in nearly a decade. Genie is a longtime veteran of the sudser, having made her onscreen debut in 1977. Her character welcomed Lucky with former partner Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), and Jonathan made his debut as Lucky in 1993. This marks his first time returning to the show since 2015. Lucky had a sister named Lulu, but she was last seen on the show in 2020, played by Emme Rylan. Jonathan announced his General Hospital return back in June. He is expected to be back for a “long” run. We got new photos of him on set a few months ago. We’ll update you as we learn more about the reunion!
