The event is being organized by Emma Ponsonby, CEO of Satopia Group, and those looking to participate will have to spend a minimum of “€160,000 ($173,000) per room (based on double occupancy) at the Passalacqua hotel, an opulent 18th century villa with frescoed suites, grand staircases and fountains overlooking the lake on land once owned by Pope Innocent XI.”

Taking place in August, this five-day event will “include dinners prepared by world-class chefs, a lakeside garden party hosted by George and Amal Clooney, private access to historic villas, cultural landmarks, scenic boat journeys on the lake and a night at Como’s Teatro Sociale.”

There will also be live music and intimate performances “woven throughout the experience, celebrating storytelling, music and artistic expression in the pursuit of justice.”

One of the dinners will be at Villa Del Balbianello, where Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale have both filmed.

While most of the spots are already filled, there a couple spaces left, where participants should “have an interest or are active in their own philanthropic foundations,” per event organizer Emma Ponsonby. “They have their own objectives that they’re trying to work on and they want to collaborate with the Clooney Foundation.”

She adds this fundraising event will be about “experiencing Como through the eyes of George and Amal and understanding just why they love this destination.”

If you missed it, George is currently about to kick off his Broadway run in the play Good Night, And Good Luck. Find out more and see the first photo!
