Forget Premier League champions Man City, George Elokobi has revealed he'll be rooting for a fifth round draw with Wolves after Maidstone pulled off a major FA Cup shock.

The National League South side pulled off a stunning 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday lunchtime - a side who sit 98 places above them in the football pyramid.

While Championship high-flyers Ipswich have their sights set on the Premier League, they failed to score in 38 attempts, leaving Maidstone to secure a victory with two goals from two attempts.

As a result, Maidstone become the first club from outside the top five tiers of English football to reach the FA Cup fifth round since Blyth Spartans in 1977-78.

It's been a dream run in the competition for Maidstone and Elokobi, but according to the former Wolves star, there's only one club who he wants to face in the next round.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Elokobi said: "Tomorrow is the Black Country derby, one of the fiercest derbies that you have in the midlands.

“I’ll be rooting for them all the way so they need to do the job and make sure we dream again!

"Obviously, we’d love a good tie – every bit of publicity and every bit of financial aid helps our community and helps our football club and players as well.

“Moments like this, our players just need to enjoy it – enjoy it, soak it all in because you don’t get too many moments like this In football."

Wolves host West Brom on Sunday lunchtime for a spot in the next round of the competition, a clash that Elokobi will be watching keenly.
