Getting Back: Update On Charlotte’s Return To WWE Following Devastating Knee Injury

She’s getting there. Injuries can be some of the worst things in all of wrestling as you never know how long someone is going to be out of action. This can lead to quite the lengthy layoffs but it can also lead to a question of when they are going to get back. That is what we are currently dealing with in WWE but it might not be that much longer before we see them again.

Charlotte has been out of action since December 8 of last year when she tore multiple knee ligaments in a match against Asuka. According to PWInsider.com, Charlotte is expected to return imminently, though it is not clear when she will be back in the ring. In addition, Charlotte posted an image of herself in the ring with NXT star Lainey Reid, thanking Reid for helping her over the last few weeks.

Opinion: Like her or not, there is nothing good about Charlotte, or anyone for that matter, being out of action for over a year. That is a crazy long time for someone to be out of the ring due to any reason, especially such a devastating injury. Hopefully she is able to get back in the ring at her previous skill level, which was rather impressive when she was given the chance to show what she could do.
