According to PWInsider.com, there were multiple cities eyed as potential Wrestlemania host before WWE was sold to Endeavor last year. Opinion: While it is rather disappointing for the cities that seemed likely to be getting WrestleMania, it makes sense that the new owners are going to want to go in a different direction. WrestleMania is by far the biggest WWE event of the year and the company is going to go out of its way to get the best deals they can, wherever those might lead them. If nothing else, it makes for some surprises, though hopefully some other cities can get in on the show sooner than later.
