This summer, Yaser Asprilla was sent to many clubs. Indeed, after a superb individual season with Watford in the Championship (6 goals and 7 assists in 44 matches), the 20-year-old player has attracted many envy across Europe. According to several sources, including ours, the Colombian winger was close to joining Stade Rennais, but was also offered to OL. But the fact is, it is not towards Ligue 1 that the player who participated in the last Copa América with Colombia will turn.

In fact, this Friday, Girona made Asprilla’s arrival official: “Girona FC and Watford FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Yáser Asprilla. The Colombian winger is tied to the Club until the 2029-2030 season. The new white and red footballer, 20 years old, started playing in the lower categories of Envigado FC, a Colombian club with one of the best careers in the country. From a young age, Yáser stood out for his speed, dribbling ability and vision of the game.» As a reminder, the Catalan club qualified for the Champions League this season and lost its starting winger in the person of Savinho.
