Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente reportedly called things off due to added scrutiny on their romance after Tom Brady’s highly talked about Netflix roast.

An insider told InTouch Weekly Thursday that the “spotlight was too much” for Valente, who was Bünchen’s jiu-jitsu trainer before their relationship turned romantic last year.

“Joaquim’s a regular guy,” the source said. “He’s not used to all the attention he was getting.”

While it’s unclear exactly when Bündchen, 43, and Valente, 34, split, they haven’t been photographed together since late April.

The insider said things took a turn for the worse following Brady’s Netflix special, which included several jabs at the pair’s romance.

“Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce,” the source added. “He hated that.”

The Brazilian beauty reportedly “blames the break on Tom,” whom she divorced in 2022.

“By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim’s back,” they said.

Reps for Bündchen did not respond to our multiple requests for comment.

During the roast, comedians Kevin Hart and Nikki Glaser brought up Bündchen and Valente’s romance on numerous occasions.

“How much would it suck for Tom… omg, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a— while eating hers,” Glaser joked during the live broadcast.

She also joked that the only thing “dumber” than him agreeing to do the roast was telling Bündchen to “try jiu-jitsu.”

“You have seven rings… well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back,” she quipped.

After the now-infamous comedy show, sources told People that the former Victoria’s Secret model felt “deeply disappointed” by the “irresponsible” wisecracks.

Sources told us that Bünchen — who shares so Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11 with the athlete — felt like her ex “once again put football before his family.”

The former New England Patriot later admitted that he “didn’t like” how his family was “affected” by the jokes and “wouldn’t do that again.”

Bündchen and Brady confirmed in October 2022 that they had called it quits after 13 years of marriage.

Just one month after their divorce was finalized, Bündchen and Valente were spotted together in Costa Rica with her kids.

However, at the time, we were told their relationship was “strictly platonic and professional” as Valente was the family’s jiu-jitsu instructor.

Page Six exclusively revealed in February 2024 their relationship had turned romantic.

“They’re deeply in love,” said an insider, with another noting that their romance began during the summer of 2023.

However, Bündchen vehemently denied cheating on Brady with Valente, branding the affair rumors as a “lie.”

“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” she told the New York Times.

“No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship,” she added.
