After months of speculations, Giulia finally arrived in WWE NXT at their Premium Live Event, No Mercy and immediately set her sights on Roxanne Perez and her NXT Women’s Championship, for which she will challenge on the October 1 episode of WWE NXT as the show moves to the CW network.
On the September 17 edition of NXT, fans saw the appearance of CM Punk, who came to hype NXT’s premiere on the CW network in his hometown. However, Punk’s address was interrupted by Roxanne Perez, who berated her former idol in favour of his current rival, Drew McIntyre.
A heated confrontation led to the arrival of Giulia, who claimed that Roxanne Perez was scared of her as the title match approached. As the segment was coming to a close, Perez tried to assault Giulia with her title, only for CM Punk to stop her attempt as he found himself entangled in their feud.
Following the show, Giulia took to her Instagram to share a photo with the The Best in the World. She called it an honor to share the same space as CM Punk, citing his status as one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time.
“I’m very honored! #WWENXT.”
As Giulia prepares for her upcoming title match in Chicago, it will be interesting to see if the Japanese sensation is the one to end the dominant reign of Roxanne Perez as NXT Women’s Champion.
