Giulia moved from STARDOM and Marigold to become a WWE Superstar last year, and she has already achieved great success in the company. However, many fans wonder if she will return to Japan, and now she has addressed the same.
While speaking to Tokyo Sports, Giulia was asked whether she would ever return to Japan as a WWE Superstar, similar to what Omos, IYO SKY and Shinsuke Nakamura have done.
Giulia stated that while she hopes to do so one day, it’s not something she’s focusing on right now. She wants to keep growing in WWE and becoming more well-known. If Japan needs her in the future she would consider going, but for now, she’s focused on improving every day.
“Of course I have aspirations, but not now. After I become a bigger and bigger presence and people say, ‘Welcome back.’ Of course, if there is a time when I am needed in Japan, I would like to rush over, but in order to do that, I want to cherish each and every day and grow bigger day by day.”
Giulia defeated Roxanne Perez during NXT New Year’s Evil to become the new NXT Women’s Champion. For now, it’s evident that Giulia’s journey in WWE is just beginning, and she has plenty to achieve in the company before she turns her attention back to Japan. Therefore, we’ll have to see when she does make her way back to Japan in the future, as fans feel Marigold could need her in the future.
