Giulia wants to do things no one has ever done before in the WWE.
The English-born Italian-Japanese professional wrestler was one of the biggest WWE signings announced this year. She appeared at NXT Stand & Deliver earlier this year, which fuelled rumors that she had signed with the company.
Her debut in the company was pushed back due to a wrist injury. She has continued to wrestle in Japan while she waits to join up with the WWE. Giulia’s matches in Marigold have impressed fans, who are eager to see what she does in the WWE.
Giulia spoke with Shueisha.co.jp in an interview (Translated by meraWRESTLING on Twitter), altering appearing in a photoshoot in their Weekly Playboy 34/35 Combined Issue. She was asked about her aspirations when moving to America, to which Guilia revealed that she wants to keep the same wrestling style as she did in Japan.
She also added that she wants to wrestle in front of the huge WWE crowds, and do things nobody has ever done before in wrestling.
“I want to stick to my fighting style in America too. Because it’s this Giulia who wrestled in Japan that fans from overseas got to know. On top of that, I want to master world-class skills and fight in front of a large crowd. When I first debuted, there were 30 people at the lowest. From there, I want to become a Giulia who can stand in front of 70,000, 80,000 people or more. I’ll do things that no one has done before!”
