Glen Powell's 'The Running Man' Film Adaptation Gets Release Date, Katy O'Brian Added to Cast

We have a couple of new updates on one of Glen Powell‘s many upcoming projects!

The 35-year-old actor was revealed back in April to star in a new adaptation of Stephen King‘s “The Running Man” for Paramount.

Months later, the studio has announced a release date and the casting addition of Katy O’Brian.

The movie follows Ben Richards, a struggling man who participates in a reality show called The Running Man to win enough money to save his sick daughter.

Glen is set to play Ben, while Katy has reportedly been cast as one of the contestants on the show, according to THR.

The Running Man will be co-written and directed by Edgar Wright, with Michael Bacall co-writing. Paramount has given the film the release date of November 21, 2025.

This will mark an on-screen reunion of Glen and Katy, as they both were in Twisters together!

Katy is also well known for starring in Kristen Stewart‘s Love Lies Bleeding, with other credits including The Mandalorian, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Sweet Girl and Black Lightning.
