Nolkywood actor Adeniyi Johnson, has expressed interest in becoming Nigeria’s next president.

In honor of 2024 Independence Day, the Yoruba actor, via his Instagram page, published photographs of him in a white costume, as he cried out to his Maker to make him the future President. He pledged to perform better.

“God, I’m not asking for too much, just the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I promise I’ll do well”.

Adeniyi isn’t the only actor who has expressed interest in being a president. In 2022, Yul Edochie expressed interest in running in the 2023 presidential election. Unfortunately, he withdrew from the election after deliberations with his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, because they lacked the structure to win the presidential election.
