The Good Morning Football crew is headed to primetime for NBC‘s NFL Kickoff Eve.

Kyle Brandt, Jamie Erdahl, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Peter Schrager will host a special live from SoFi Stadium starting at 9 p.m. ET, a day before the NFL regular season begins.

The NFL Network crew will get the audience pumped for the season’s first game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs, which will air on NBC on Thursday, September 5, starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

Good Morning Football started a new era in LA in August after a brief hiatus amid their move from NYC. Part of the changes for the NFL Network show is that it would have a syndicated extension called GMFB: Overtime. The spinoff show premiered on Monday, September 2, on Fox Television Stations, which features the latest news from around the league, interviews with players, coaches, front executives, and celebrity fans, and informative and fun discussions on the topics that mean the most to NFL fans.

“Adding additional NFL-based content to our lineups, this time on a Monday-Friday basis, makes too much sense for us not to do it. The fact that GMFB is already a successful franchise enhances it even more,” Frank Cicha, Executive Vice President of Programming for Fox Television Stations, said.

Good Morning Football is produced by NFL Network. Michael Davies of SPT-backed Embassy Row serves as executive producer. SPT handles U.S. distribution for the syndicated extension series and CBS Media Ventures is selling the ad inventory.
