David Schwimmer stars on this first look poster for the upcoming new season of Goosebumps!

The Disney+ series, based on the popular RL Stine books, returns for a second season next year, and the premiere date and new subtitle have been revealed.

The news was unveiled in celebration of RL Stine‘s birthday, which is TODAY (October 8)!

For season two of the anthology series, the story draws on elements from the following books – “Stay Out of the Basement, “The Haunted Car,” “Monster Blood,” “The Girl Who Cried Monster,” “The Ghost Next Door,” “Welcome to Camp Nightmare” and more.

Titled Goosebumps: The Vanishing, the season begins when twins Cece and Devin Brewer are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad. A threat is stirring, and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Cece, Devin and their friends — Alex, CJ and Frankie — find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.

David will star as Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor who immersed himself in science and mystery, along with Ana Ortiz, Jayden Bartels, Sam McCarthy, Elijah Cooper, Galilea La Salvia, Francesca Noel and Stony Blyden as Trey. Find out more about the characters here!
