The grief continues to spread following actress Michelle Trachtenberg‘s tragic death on Wednesday morning.

As we’ve been reporting, Trachtenberg passed away at just 39 years old in a New York City apartment on Wednesday. And as medical officials in the city begin their investigation into the cause of her death, the longtime television and film star’s costars and longtime celebrity colleagues are sharing their memories, condolences, and heartbreak.

Along with Michelle’s former Buffy The Vampire Slayer costars and others who have been weighing in on her tragic demise throughout the day on Wednesday, the cast and crew of another production in which Trachtenberg figured prominently are also now sharing their thoughts.

Below, you can see all the reactions Michelle’s fellow Gossip Girl alums have shared regarding the heartbreaking of losing her:

Chace Crawford

The man who played Nate Archibald on the long-running television show, actor Chace Crawford, kicked off the heartbreaking period of mourning on Wednesday by sharing a trio of old pictures to his Instagram account. Along with that carousel of suddenly sad and poignant photos, Crawford wrote:

“Michelle was one of a kind. I remember her coming on set for the first time and just absolutely owning it. She was a force of nature and just so so unapologetically funny and magnetic.. remembering those years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss. Love you.”

Kevin Zegers

Along with Crawford’s mournful memories, actor Kevin Zegers — who played Damian Dalgaard on GG — also took to Instagram with a touching old photo and a powerful statement.

As you can see (below), he was clearly very hurt by Michelle’s death:

“What a loss. Michelle was tough and a force. Just a kid, so sad.”

Josh Schwartz

The actors themselves weren’t the only ones to mourn Michelle’s loss. Josh Schwartz, who created the show in the first place, also paid tribute to Trachtenberg via IG. The 48-year-old took to his Stories on Wednesday with a simple but impactful message meant for the late actress:

“RIP Michelle. Thank you for Georgina. You will be missed but not forgotten.”

Then, not long after sharing his own message of condolences there, Schwartz popped up once more in the comments section of Crawford’s aforementioned post with this response:

“Well said. Love these photos.”

So sad…

Stephanie Savage

In addition to his social media post about Michelle’s death, Schwartz also aligned on Wednesday with his Gossip Girl co-creator Stephanie Savage to release a statement to the media about the terrible situation.

Sent to TODAY, the two creators’ statement recalled Michelle’s humor, kindness, and talent on screen:

“We are deeply saddened by the news of Michelle’s passing. Michelle was so funny, kind, and talented. Her portrayal of Georgina Sparks was an iconic fan favorite, and grew from a one season villain to a beloved character who returned over the course of six seasons. She was a delight to have on set and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with her family.”

Ed Westwick

Ed Westwick, who played Chuck Bass on the memorable teen drama, also took the opportunity to share his condolences regarding Michelle’s death on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since multiple rape accusations against him came out in 2017, and then again in 2018, kept things short and sweet with his statement on the sad situation while also sharing a snap of Trachtenberg in better days:

“So sad to hear of the passing of @michelletrachtenberg. Sending prayers.”

Wow.

This whole thing continues to be so unbearably sad. It honestly still doesn’t feel real.

Rest in peace, Michelle…
