There has been talk for some time about Kobbie Mainoo getting a new deal at Manchester United.
The 18-year-old signed a new contract at United less than a year ago, which ties him to OId Trafford until 2030, but the club are prepared to offer him new and improved terms after his incredible emergence into the first-team under Erik ten Hag this season.
Mainoo is right now, as things stand, one of the first names on the teamsheet – along with fellow academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho. The academy is something we are proud and it is important that our manager, Ten Hag, takes those transitions into the account.
Of course, it’s not difficult when you’ve got talented prospects like Mainoo and Garnacho ready to hartch into the senior game.
Without further ado, here are some of today’s biggest headlines that concern Manchester United.
