Some stars just do not pan out in the company but do manage to find success elsewhere. Those can make for some interesting situations down the line when you see someone do well outside of WWE. That is what we are seeing again with a star who is trying to continue their career.

Former WWE Superstar Aliyah won her first singles title since leaving the company over the weekend, winning the Destiny World Wrestling Women’s Title. Aliyah won the title at the Haywire event, defeating Tiffany Nieves to become the new champion. Aliyah only recently returned to wrestling after nearly two years away. She was released from WWE in September 2023.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you do not see very often but it is still interesting in a lot of ways. If nothing else, it is good to see Aliyah having success outside of WWE. While she did well enough there, she was only going to get so far in the company. Thankfully her career isn’t over and it would be nice to see what she can do in the ring if she is given the chance elsewhere.
