Facundo Pellistri is expected to leave Manchester United on loan this month.
According to Mundo Deportivo, La Liga outfit Granada are leading the race to sign the Uruguay international.
It is believed that the 22-year-old has received interest from a number of clubs including Sevilla, PSV Eindhoven and LA Galaxy.
However, fellow Uruguayan Alexander Medina currently manages Granada and is believed to have convinced the winger to join his side as they look to avoid relegation from the Spanish top flight.
The one assurance Pellistri needs is game time. He has found minutes at United hard to come by despite the poor form of Antony, on the right flank, but that has not stopped him starring under Marcelo Bielsa for the Uruguay national team.
Pellistri may not only become Granada’s fifth signing of the January transfer window, but he could also become the seventh player to leave Old Trafford on loan this month.
Granada are currently five points from safety and they’ve previously signed Andreas Pereira on loan from United. The Brazilian currently plays for Fulham.
