Grayson Waller takes a shot at the Motor City Machine Guns.
Former TNA stars the Motor City Machine Guns made their WWE debut on the October 18 episode of WWE SmackDown. They won the WWE Tag Team Championship three matches into their WWE career, as they beat The Bloodline on the October 25 episode of SmackDown.
Speaking on The Mason Crosby Show, Grayson Waller commented on the Motor City Machine Guns‘ title win. He jokingly said that he couldn’t remember where the duo worked before they arrived in WWE. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)
“It’s extremely frustrating, but you know, you have to understand, those guys have been doing it for 20 years,” Grayson Waller said. “They’ve been a tag team for a very long time. I can’t remember where they worked. I think it was Micro Championship Wrestling, I think that’s where they were, judging by the size of them… But these are two guys that have been very good for a very long time and as much maybe as I don’t like that they’ve just been walking in the door and taking our Tag Team Championships,
“I can understand what they’ve done in the past to get to this stage. But these are very bright lights and I’m very interested to see how long they can hang doing that because I think the Tag Team Championships should be around the waists of superstars. Not wrestlers like the Motor City Machine Guns.”
The Motor City Machine Guns will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against the Street Profits on the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
