Guardiola celebrates Rodri’s Ballon d’Or and discusses Messi-Ronaldo rivalry, saying ‘Cristiano was a monster, and the father of that monster is Messi’.

At a press conference, Pep Guardiola celebrated Rodri’s victory at the 2024 Ballon d’Or, while making a striking comment on the legendary rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Praising the impact of his players, the Catalan manager said:

“Congratulations to Rodri. This is incredible news for him and all Manchester City fans.”.
