French international Mattéo Guendouzi is likely to make his comeback in the English championship this summer.

Aston Villa have reportedly made an offer for Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

The Corriere dello Sport claims Villans manager Unai Emery wants to reunite with his former Arsenal midfielder.

Guendouzi could find Emery

Negotiations have not yet started, but conditions are ripe for them to start within the next two weeks. The interest was confirmed by the Frenchman’s entourage.

Lazio ready to sell, president Claudio ready to meet Igor Tudor’s transfer expectations. While they had worked together at Marseille previously, Guendouzi fell out with the Croatian coach at the end of last season. Their cohabitation therefore became impossible.
