Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she and Timothée Chalamet engage in “a lot of sex” in their upcoming movie, “Marty Supreme,” out this December.
“I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie … there’s a lot — a lot,” Paltrow, 52, teased in a new interview with Vanity Fair, referring to the intimate onscreen moments between herself and Chalamet, 29.
Paltrow shared some insight into her onscreen romance with the actor while chatting with Vanity Fair. The Goop founder described her character as “this woman who is married to someone who is in the Ping-Pong mafia, as it were.”
She also confirmed that her character becomes entangled with Chalamet’s Marty.

While not much else is known about the plot at this time, IMDb describes Chalamet’s character as “a young man with a dream no one respects” who “goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.”
Paltrow gushed about Chalamet’s hunky reputation, dubbing him a “thinking man’s sex symbol.”

When asked if she and Chalamet get into “a lot of vulnerable positions,” the “Talented Mr. Ripley” star replied, “Beyond.”
Paltrow, who is married to Brad Falchuk, and Chalamet, who is dating Kylie Jenner, worked with an intimacy coordinator on set — something she had never done in her previous years in Hollywood.

Penske Media via Getty Images“There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed,” she said, adding that when the coordinator asked if she was OK with a certain move, she replied, “Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.”
While the co-stars appreciated the option of having a professional to help, Paltrow said that she and Chalamet asked the intimacy coordinator to take a back seat.
“We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back,’” Paltrow recalled. “I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but…if someone is like, ‘OK, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that.”

The Oscar winner then joked about her and Chamalet’s age gap, adding, “I was like, ‘OK, great. I’m 109 years old. You’re 14.’”
The “View from the Top” actress is returning to the big screen after taking a years-long hiatus from acting. She said she only took this role after being encouraged by her brother, Jake.
“I get approached, still, surprisingly a lot, and I say ‘no,’” she said of other acting opportunities.

“I didn’t even contemplate doing anything that would take me away from my kids,” she said, adding that she “always sort of understood how finite this period of childhood is.”
Now that she is an empty nester with both her kids in college, Paltrow said she finally has the time to act again.
