Gwyneth Paltrow gives her thoughts about working with an intimacy coordinator during physical scenes with Timothee Chalamet in an upcoming film. Marty Supreme, produced by A24, tells the story of ping pong protégé, played by Timothee, who has an affair with a competitor’s wife, played by Gwyneth. “I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie. There’s a lot—a lot,” Gwyneth, 52, told Vanity Fair regarding the characters. Keep reading to find out more… The Goop founder also discussed what it was like to have an intimacy coordinator on set during certain scenes with the 29-year-old actor. “There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed I was like, ‘Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on,’” she said. “We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back. I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but…if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,’ I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that,” she added. In October 2024, Gwyneth and Timothee were seen sharing a kiss while in character while filming Marty Supreme in Central Park.
