Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres has opposed a transfer to one of the prestigious clubs that covet him.

Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has dismissed rumors of a move to Manchester United. However, he did not comment on PSG’s alleged interest in him.

It has been rumored for some time that Gyokeres could follow former Sporting coach Ruben Amorim to Manchester United. But, it’s an option that doesn’t excite the interested party that much. He told fotbollskanalen: “He probably already has a few attackers there, so we’ll see.”

Gyokeres will not follow Ruben Amorim

The 26-year-old was also asked if he would prefer to move in January or during the summer. “I don’t think about it at all. Of course you want to play the season at Sporting and I like it there, so it’s not a stress for me to transfer in the future. We’ll see when the time is right. »

Very prolific at club level since the start of the season, with a total of 23 goals in 18 matches, Gyokeres is also prolific for the national team. This Saturday, he only needed three minutes of play to open the scoring during Sweden’s match against Slovakia in the Nations League.
