The “cyborg” hates defeat. Even more so when it’s on a river score.

Undefeated since last June, the Norwegian selection was torpedoed (5-1) in Austria on Sunday, during the fourth day of the Nations League. A result which allows Ralf Rangnick’s men to return to the level of their visitors in the standings.

Rare enough to be noted, Erling Haaland did not find the net during this meeting. The Manchester City striker was close to achieving it in the opening minutes, but his shot was saved by the post.

Haaland angry, two victories announced

After the match, Erling Haaland was furious. He did not appear in front of the journalists, in the mixed zone. On his Instagram account, the Leeds native still apologized to the Norwegian people. “Sorry everyone, not good enough of me.” In November we are aiming for six points,” he wrote in a story.

On November 14, Norway will travel to Slovenia for the fifth day of the League of Nations. Three days later, Stale Solbakken’s men will host Kazakhstan. For the moment, they remain at the top of their group in League B, with seven points, tied with Austria.
